Check what the service says about sharing, tracking, deletion, and data retention.
See what a privacy policy or terms page actually says about your data and your rights. Policy Pal finds the clauses worth a second look and quotes the source, so you can check each claim before deciding.

Every report ends in one word
The problem
A clause about forced arbitration, automatic renewal, or data kept after you leave can look like every other paragraph. You should not have to search the whole document to know which sentence needs your attention.
Policy Pal starts with the consequence, then gives you the exact words to check.
How it works
Policy Pal stays out of the way until you ask it for something.
Policy Pal recognises privacy policies and terms pages. It does not read the rest of your tabs.
Choose Analyze this policy. Your anonymous installation token is created at that moment — not when you install.
The panel sits beside the document, so you can check any quote against the source without leaving the page.
When to use it
Read the part that matters while you can still choose what to do next.
Check what the service says about sharing, tracking, deletion, and data retention.
Look for renewal, cancellation, arbitration, and terms the service may change later.
Read the current policy beside a report whose claims link back to its own sentences.
What you get
The conclusion first, the reasoning under it, the evidence under that. You stop reading the moment you have what you need.
○ Verdict
Standard, notable, concerning, severe, or unclear — followed by the single most important thing this document does.
▲ Findings
Only clauses that would change a reasonable person’s decision. Each says what it means for you, and whether it is common or rare.
❝ Evidence
Every finding carries the sentence it rests on. If Policy Pal cannot verify that sentence in the document, it drops the claim instead of guessing.
When you need more
The full report is free. Premium helps when the document changes or is not on a webpage.
See a browser badge when a fixed answer changes, then read what moved in the panel.
Put each answer beside policies of the same kind when the corpus has enough to compare.
Paste an agreement or choose a text-based PDF or TXT file. Only its report is retained.
Download a Markdown report with its quotes, document address, date, and disclaimer.
Privacy
A privacy claim is only worth something if you can see where the boundary sits.
The complete report is included. Premium adds monitoring, corpus context, private documents, and export for $9.99 a month or $99 a year.
No account. Your subscription lives in this browser, and the email from Stripe checkout restores it anywhere else.
Questions
Short answers here. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
No. It sends one document — the policy you explicitly asked it to analyze. It does not collect browsing history, and it does not read pages you did not submit.
Yes. It is automated and is not legal advice. Every stated claim carries a source quote so you can check the reading against the document. A claim without a verified quote is discarded.
Premium reads pasted text, TXT files, and PDFs with a readable text layer in a dedicated extension tab. You review the extracted text before sending it; the file stays in your browser, and only the report is retained for 30 days. Scanned PDFs without readable text are refused.
Premium can watch a public policy you have read. When one of its eight fixed answers changes, a badge appears on the browser icon and the panel shows what moved. It does not email alerts or report every wording edit.
Premium puts each answer beside other policies of the same kind and says whether an unfavourable answer is common, uncommon, or rare. A baseline is shown only after at least 30 comparable documents have been read. It does not score or rank companies.
No. There is no sign-up and no password. A random installation token is created in your browser the first time you run an analysis, and that is the whole identity system.
Install Policy Pal in the new browser and restore your subscription with the email you used at Stripe checkout. We send a six-digit code to that address.
Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers through the Chrome Web Store, plus Firefox through Mozilla Add-ons, including Firefox for Android.
1 analysis is free every calendar month, and the report is the complete one. A subscription costs $9.99 per month or $99 per year: it raises the limit to 30 and adds policy monitoring, comparison, export, and reading documents that are not published on a web page. 10 extra analyses can also be bought outright for $4.99.
Policy Pal removes the installation link, local reports, watched policies, private reports, and unused purchased analyses. An active subscription is scheduled to end after the paid period. Public policy readings remain in the shared corpus without a customer identity.
Install Policy Pal, open an English privacy policy or terms page, and use your monthly free analysis when a decision matters.
