In short1 analysis a month is free, and the report is the full one. $9.99 a month or $99 a year adds monitoring, comparison, export, and documents you were sent. Or buy 10 analyses for $4.99 and keep them.

The free report is the same grounded reading subscribers get. Subscribe when you want to follow changes, put answers in context, or read an agreement you were sent. Buy a pack when you only need more analyses this month.

Need more reads without a subscription?

10 analyses for $4.99, one payment, and they do not expire. They are used only after your monthly allowance. The pack belongs to the browser installation that buys it. Clearing Policy Pal’s data or uninstalling it loses unused credits; they cannot be restored by email or refunded after deletion.

Is the free report different?

No. Every plan gets the complete report, including the verdict, up to five findings, eight fixed questions, and checkable quotes. Premium adds ongoing and private-document tools; it does not change the quality of a policy reading.

What counts as an analysis?

A grounded report uses one analysis, including when Policy Pal already holds the same public report. Invalid documents, provider failures, and cancelled readings do not. The allowance resets each calendar month in UTC; purchased analyses are spent only after it runs out.

Why it is tied to a browser

There is no Policy Pal account, so there is nothing to log in to. A random installation token lives in your browser storage and carries your entitlement. Clearing that storage removes the link from that browser but does not cancel anything at Stripe — use the email from checkout to restore it, here or on another machine.

Cancelling and refunds

Choose Manage subscription in the panel. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Stripe handles refunds under the rules shown at checkout, plus any rights your local law gives you. The full text is in the terms.
