What Policy Pal does

Policy Pal reads a document you choose and produces an automated report. The report may be incomplete or wrong. Check the quoted source before relying on a claim.

Not legal advice

Policy Pal does not give legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. It can tell you what a document says. Whether to sign, accept, dispute, or act is a legal decision about your situation and may require a qualified lawyer.

Free use and subscription

You may run 1 free analysis each calendar month. Purchased analysis credits do not expire and are not refundable once bought. A subscription costs the live price shown before Stripe checkout, currently $9.99 each month. It allows up to 30 successful analyses each month. We state this limit because the subscription is not literally unlimited.

You can cancel through Manage subscription in Policy Pal. Access continues through the paid period. Stripe handles refunds under the rules shown at checkout and any rights that local law gives you.

Browser-bound access and restore

Your entitlement is linked to a random installation token in browser storage. If you clear that storage or switch browsers, use the email from Stripe checkout to restore access. Do not share restore codes.

Acceptable use

Do not automate the consumer extension, evade usage limits, interfere with the service, submit content you are not allowed to process, or use Policy Pal to violate another person’s rights.

Your documents

You keep all rights in content you submit. You give us only the limited permission needed to transmit, analyze, verify, and, for published policies, cache the resulting report. Do not submit secrets or personal documents through a feature that does not expressly say it discards them.

Availability and changes

We may suspend the service for security, abuse, provider failure, or maintenance. If these terms change materially, we will update the date above and publish the new text before it applies where law requires notice.

Liability

To the extent law allows, Policy Pal is provided as available without a guarantee that every clause will be found. Pocket Pot, Inc. is not liable for a decision made from an automated report. Nothing here removes a right that applicable law does not let us remove.
